A friend of mine who works at Walmart here locally, who is a department lead, told me she wrote a 10 page letter to home office about all the issues that needs to be addressed in our store. We have nothing but problems here......management dont give a shit, it seems like no one does!!

@cherokeepatti i had heard that walmart is doing a huge layoff at a warehouse that fulfills orders in Georgia.....over 1000 people losing jobs. Ive traveled an hour in the past to grocery shop somewhere else, but, you have to have a cooler or cooler bags to keep things cold or fresh....

@SW-User Saw a couple of different women from Missouri here over a decade ago, they were visiting here and were in a grocery store saying how cheap the turkeys and some other things were compared to where they live. They must have lived in very rural area. I think one of them took a couple of turkeys back home for the holidays. When we lived in rural Missouri on a farm we grew most of our food. But needed to buy baking stuff and other things that we didn’t grow. Some farm people would drive to St. Joseph or Kansas City every few months for one reason or another and fill up the back of their cars with groceries they found at a lot better prices in the big city stores to stock up on.

Isn't it coincidental (ironic, revealing) a mistake in what you're charged is always in favor of the store, not the customer?
I wonder how many people blindly trust the system and the machines, and never even notice they're getting over-charged.

@Fluffybull Walmarts line of products may be short on product. One thing was the boxes of pasta. Weighed them with a food scale and they came up short. The next time I went to the store I got a box and weighed it on their produce scales and it came up short on weight. I think they are trying to nickel and dime consumers any way they can get by with. They raised the price of a 5-dozen box of eggs by $12 in November just in time for holiday baking. I bought at 5 dozen box of eggs for $12.49 at Winco store yesterday. Pays to shops around and compare prices.

@cherokeepatti Oh, we go to several supermarkets, I don't know how some people get everything they need at just one. We shop at Asda, Tesco, Sainsbury's, Morrisons and Farmfoods 😆👌

@Fluffybull I am not going so far to say I am boycotting Walmart but if I have better options for most things I will not buy them at Walmart. They are damned greedy. I am going there less often as it is. Went one day last week and found 3 shirts on clearance and got overcharged and stood at the cash registered till it was fixed. I already had the amount in my mind what the total would be. Seemed like it took 10 minutes to straighten it out.

I was at Market Basket a couple of weeks ago, and the automatic scanner was double ringing things. The cashier was mentioning it to her supervisor right after I went through and cashed out. My receipt was okay.

I always do that. The amount of times the wrong price comes up when I'm using self-service till and I have to press for assistance 🙄

@Fluffybull I wish someone would do a documentary on this and expose their asses.

You wasn't supposed to notice.

@MarineBob Well after seeing the price of eggs my beady eyes will notice every damn thing now. I bought a 5 dozen case of eggs at Winco last week form$9.49, they had gone up a dollar but even so not a bad price. I checked the 5 dozen cases of eggs at Walmart today and they were $22.36. This is the reason I do most of my groceries Moore and not here, there is a Winco in Moore.

It's happened to me. I had an item scanned twice and when I pointed it out I was told to go to the service desk.
