You Have To Watch Them Scan Your Items, Every Single One When Shopping At Walmart…

Got 3 t-shirts on clearance and a pair of house pants. The cashier scanned one of the clearance shirts and it came up full price. She kept going back to fix it and the original scan didn’t get removed. It was $11 too much and I said try again or I’ll go to the service desk and let them fix it. Was going to charge me $11 too much. She finally called for help.I had already added the price up when I was putting things on the counter.

A friend of mine who works at Walmart here locally, who is a department lead, told me she wrote a 10 page letter to home office about all the issues that needs to be addressed in our store. We have nothing but problems here......management dont give a shit, it seems like no one does!!

@SW-User oh yeh I remember managements attitude. They don’t care as long s they get a fat bonus every year

@cherokeepatti i worked at walmart for 3 years.....service desk and photo lab. Did my duty and got tired of it quickly....

@SW-User I know what you mean. The management seem apathetic about anything except things that might cause a lawsuit to the store and that would cost them a chunk of that annual bonus.

@cherokeepatti you have totally spoken the truth on that.

@SW-User They think they are smart enough to jack up prices and no one will notice. The thing I noticed while working there was that it was customers with food stamps that would buy everything around the time they got them, didn’t seem they even tried to shop around for better prices. We now have several Aldi stores in the area and a Winco. It just seems ridiculous to keep shopping there for everything. Even Big Lots has better prices on what they sell for the most part.

@cherokeepatti im at the mercy of Walmart here in my small town....its one of the only grocery stores around . But, their is a food lion here.....its so much more expensive.

@SW-User That’s too bad. There are a lot of options here for consumers and many still buy everything at Walmart. I think they don’t want to be bothered by going to different stores. There are 3 WM supercenters here in my city, , 2 WM grocery stores and 2 Aldi stores located within a few blocks of two if the super WMs. Winco is in the next city and very convenient because every store I want to shop at is on a street within about 8 blocks of one another

@cherokeepatti i had heard that walmart is doing a huge layoff at a warehouse that fulfills orders in Georgia.....over 1000 people losing jobs. Ive traveled an hour in the past to grocery shop somewhere else, but, you have to have a cooler or cooler bags to keep things cold or fresh....

@SW-User Saw a couple of different women from Missouri here over a decade ago, they were visiting here and were in a grocery store saying how cheap the turkeys and some other things were compared to where they live. They must have lived in very rural area. I think one of them took a couple of turkeys back home for the holidays. When we lived in rural Missouri on a farm we grew most of our food. But needed to buy baking stuff and other things that we didn’t grow. Some farm people would drive to St. Joseph or Kansas City every few months for one reason or another and fill up the back of their cars with groceries they found at a lot better prices in the big city stores to stock up on.
