I want a new online friend

I don't know why this is a thing for me, do anyone know what I mean? I don't want another friend IRL, just an online chatting comrade to write with about all my ever-changing projects and thoughts lol.

Online friends are great because of the distance involved — the effort required to maintain an online friendship is considerably less than doing so in real life.

@DunningKruger True, and I generally only talk with people IRL if we meet up, we don't text or call much. Online friends I just write with while going about my day. It's like having personal space while having a friend.
