I just listened to her, once again, foolishly spouting "her" plan to force grocery stores to stop so-called "price gouging". The people who TAUGHT this parrot to SAY that have no effing clue, apparently, that grocery stores operate on the thinnest possible profit margins...sometimes 1% or LESS.
IF she were elected, and IF she tried to address the high grocery prices in such a STUPID manner, grocery stores would start closing their doors. The American people would start to have trouble FINDING food.
Someone...ANYONE...needs to TELL her exactly how stupid she sounds.
The ONLY way to lower prices at the grocery stores is to lower the cost of gas by increasing our supply. Shipping, and the cost of diesel fuel for trucks, is directly related to the higher cost of groceries. Because those prices didn't start to go up until Biden shut down our pipelines and closed Anwar.
