Good Grief, I Went To A Grocery Store and Hadn’t Been To That One In A While…

Walked over to the egg case to see how much a 5-dozen case of large eggs were…More than $17. The last time I bought a case of eggs from that store they were cheaper than Walmart or Winco, about $10. Good thing I bought a case of medium size eggs from Winco for $8 this week.

Eggs are $2.69 a dozen for large white, here. Haven't even seen 5 dozen lots.

@4meAndyou they sell them by the 5-dozen box at Walmart, Winco, and several private chains. Sam’s has some larger cases they probably sell to restaurants or large families.

@cherokeepatti I haven't been inside Walmart since Covid. I heard that Market Basket has more stock and better prices, and that seems to be true.

@cherokeepatti They are only on the east coast...for now. Massachusetts and New Hampshire. They are a really great store!
