Have you ever pretended to not see someone you know when you're at the grocery store?

I go outta my way to great lengths to avoid them or scream across the store to them… never a middle ground for me 😬

Yeah my ex and my sister another time. I just got my stuff, paid for it and got the hell out.

Not always just at the grocery but yeah I have seen people at the store and had to duck out pretty quick.

Another time some "friend" who is obnoxious as hell was at the thrift store and I had to go into hiding so her annoying mouth would not pester me.

It's worded perfectly and yes. There's this ex-coworker that lives nearby and I accidentally meet her so frequently that it's starting to be awkward. I know she tries to avoid me just as much as I do but sometimes it's simply impossible.

One time I was looking at the spuds when I heard someone saying my name … she was some one I used to work with years ago, it was lovely tbh… we caught up and hugged at the end ( it was a few months after covid ended ) so we could see each other without masks and actually hug! Haha 😌
