It was $2 day and I found a beet supplement, 90-count Total Beets, on the bin tables…bought 12 of them. They sell for $32 each on Amazon’s website. Also got some plumbing pipe insulation, a pretty coffee mug and some medicated body powder. Worth my while driving up to Oklahoma City. The coffee cup is listed for $15.40 on Amazon. And I recounted the bottles of Total Beets, got 13 of them. Figure I got about $500 (with sales tax) in merchandise today for a little more than what one bottle of the beet gummies would cost me.
@cherokeepatti no just decluttering. when my daughter passed, i had all these things for her girls. we were not allowed to see them so they just sat in bins...fast forward 20 years later and i am sending it all for her girls.
@cherokeepatti I used to add some chopped tarragon or mint leaf. when I had it growing in the garden but it all died. Lately just the beets and carrots.
@Musicman I saved enough on a few things I bought last week that it motivated me to get up early and be there today before the doors opened. Supplements are damned expensive to be paying full price for. And the price of beets at Winco went from $1 a pound to $1.50 about 6 weeks ago. They had been $1 a pound for a few years.
