For anyone not happy with Target's immediate dismissal of DEI, and HAPPY with the stand Costco took:

I found an amazing deal. It is $65 for a gold membership, and once you pay the $65, StackSocial will send you a $20 electronic gift card to redeem within 30 days. This is for new members only, and it appears that if you sign up for emails they may give you an additional 15% off! Target has already reported a 15 BILLION dollar loss this year; sucks bc I love Target!! I never really shopped there anyway; can't afford it, and the homegoods/decor is like crack once you get started lol. Sucks to suckkk Target!! The funniest part is: you can use Elon's PayPal to pay for it 🤣🤣🤣

I think target has a pretty diverse workforce at almost any store you go to. I probably won't matter if they do not fly a DEI flag they will probably still have a diverse workforce. I think that is true of almost any retail outlet --- the labor economics of retail doesn't afford them the luxury of not hiring old people or minorities regardless of what they say on paper.

the bigger issue with retail overall is wage theft in terms of underpaying staff and lowballing on benefits and paid time off.
