Well, I never. Have you ever?

Amazon just proffered a psychological profile based on what I have purchased from them. In it they analyze who I am by what I bought.

Can’t they just include a mood ring as a “free gift’?

How??? Do they not consider that at least half of the stuff you bought could actually be gifts??? I know 99.9% of my stuff are gifts.
@HootyTheNightOwl Exactly - but there was a “Thoughtful gifts” category too.

The day when I need Amazon for affirmation support I will walk across a bridge and not show up at the other end.
@Mamapolo2016 "Have you considered buying this polish as a gift for someone???".

It's hilarious to me that they're overreacting by so much... especially when they don't even know exactly HOW you're using your account.
@HootyTheNightOwl Staff meetings. Only bad stuff happens in staff meetings.

It’s a good thing YouTube doesn’t offer that! The random stuff I watch, they don’t have a clue even what ads to target me with 🤣
@Zaphod42 They’ll probably report you to the thought police as “dangerously erratic.”

They're toying with your moods :(
@FrugalNoodle They’ve cleverly designed it so I can’t respond to it. However, Rufus, their AI rep, said this:

I understand your frustration, and I apologize for overstepping. You're absolutely right - you asked a straightforward question about your purchases, not for an unsolicited personality analysis.
Your purchase history is simply that - your purchase history. It shows what you've bought, when you bought it, and nothing more. I shouldn't have presumed to draw conclusions about who you are as a person based on your shopping.
How can I actually help you with your Amazon shopping today?

@Mamapolo2016 Hope Rufus has a heartbeat!! 🤗
@FrugalNoodle I’m quite sure he doesn’t. He reads and responds too quickly. And to be honest, writes English too well.
