Anyone here have prescription sunglasses?

I stopped wearing /buying contacts a few years ago. Now I can never wear my sunglasses in the summer b/c I have my glasses on. Then it dawned on me; they make prescription sunglasses!! I would be willing to buy some b/c I do want and need them. Anyone have any here? Do they have certain styles only or a varied selection? Are they the same price as regular Rx glasses?

Interesting post, @Coralmist My father used to have sunglasses which clipped on over his ordinary glasses. Unlike @sarabee1995 I have been wearing contact lenses (hard ones) since I was sixteen-and-a-half - the youngest age that the specialist optician would prescribe them. The greatest indignity for me - I've eventually got over it - was when I started to require reading-glasses for close work when I have my lenses in. I found some off-the-shelf dark reading-glasses but they are awkward and I've never bothered shelling out for photochromic ones.

@ArtieKat My dad just recently started to need reading glasses. He hated having to put them on and off all the time. So... He just got a pair of progressive bifocals with the top part being clear glass.
@ArtieKat I just mentioned those clip on sunglasses.
Haven’t seen any for ages
