What’s the best thing you bought for a significantly low price?

I guess I could make a list

1) 70 lb canvas heavy bag for 40 dollars
2) rocks for a rock garden for 200 dollars (big rock garden)
3) my three cats---all ex ferals / had standard vet and vaxed but free to aquire (and i love them )
4) a couple of large oak bookshelves for 10 and 12 dollars
5) lined hooded jacket for 15 (on clearance)
6) bluetooth headset that retailed for 120 for 30 because i was part of a promotion
7) My win10 laptop with 16gb ram and an i5 was 350 ---have had it for 3-4 years now
8) have a heavy duty kicking shield (for martial arts) that I bought for 25 fifteen years ago. would retail for about 120.
9) took one year of amazon prime and watched roughly 3 movies a month for a year making my rental fees about 3 bucks a movie plus the free month they throw in
10) I can't think of 10, can you work with 9?

Well I resonantly bought a solar powered monkey that swings back and forth by it’s tail. It only cost me a buck but it has already giving me a million dollars worth of entertainment. Cheers!

I got a £500 barista espresso machine for 180 because they were shifting the last stock. Still use it every day years later

I found a smokeless fire pit, very heavy one too, with a cover at a pallet store for less than $90. It originally had been over $250 and the discount store was having a sale on the larger boxed items on the shelves. I thought it was going to cost $120 but when I went to pay they charged me less than $90. The cheap ones you buy for that price are not well-made and will rust out, and they aren’t smokeless either.

a house :-) for about 1/2 of the market value

I really don’t like paying ticket price for most things and will haggle or get discount.
My best I guess is from discount and that was £15k off my last car from its ticket price of £45k.
I also love getting extra things thrown in linked to what I’m buying or helping someone else buy

I just allowed home depot to sell me a pallet of merchandise steeply discounted and cheaper than Lowe's

I got a $140 pullover for $30 because it had a small white mark on the hem

When I got a free Xbox due to a billing error, that was cool.

I once told my little sister I wanted a brother but she was on sale because she was ugly. She cried.
