What type of shops are your favourite?

I love clothes shops, stationary shops and delicatessens.

@cherokeepatti I hope you are feeling up to it and you do. After being stuck inside from the weather getting out always made me feel better.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@Musicman yeah I know, spending one-two weeks at a time at home isolating myself from the public until I have to go back for a medical appointment and treatment is getting old. I even just enjoy getting in the car and riding up there and back to get a change of scenery is good.

@cherokeepatti I definitely understand that. ☹️

The supermarket (and charity shops)

I like charity shops for books but I find them a bit gross! Supermarkets are a bit too bright but I love it when we come home fully stocked! I do love Marks & Spencer’s though!!@Matt85

@Strongtea Marks & Sparks does some good food, it's just a bit expensive.
Strongtea · 22-25, M
Yes I totally hear you on that, I do think it’s worth it though. @Matt85

A bakèŕy, local speciality shops when you are on holiday and outdoor shops.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@meggie Oh I used to LOVE going to small bakeries and buying a cherry or raspberry jelly Long John with a chocolate glaze, or a bear claw, etc. I can’t have gluten now and miss doing that. I didn’t buy often so when I did it was a real treat for me after I got home from shopping. There was one bakery called Velma’s Bakery on Main Street about 3 blocks from my junior high. They sold brownies that were so unique in flavor, chocolate-walnut but were different from homemade. And those Long Johns too, best in town. I think someone would get wealthy if they created an exclusively gluten-free bakery here and didn’t charge a fortune for the items. So many with celiac disease or gluten-intolerance these days.
Strongtea · 22-25, M
I love those too!!!@meggie
