If you were a billionaire, what would you still not buy?

Like say if you have $1 billion.

I would still not buy a phone that is over $400, a Mac pro, a tesla or any car that’s very expensive. Also I would not buy a mansion. What the hell would I do with 20 bedrooms or 10 bathrooms? Give me a nice size house with a big yard. Maybe have a farm or a garden. Also luxury clothes.
If it’s something I like I would get it but I refuse to spend $1000 for clothes.
Call me cheap all you want but I rather live a simple life. That’s just me.
DrWatson · 70-79, M
I also have no desire for a mansion.

Fancy cars don't do much for me, either.

And I would wear jeans and t shirts most of the time.

Lottery tickets
Iwillwait · M
@RosaMarie yes.
TheDisciplinarian · 61-69, M
@RosaMarie Too Funny 😁
ElizabethBabe1994 · 26-30, F
@RosaMarie I agree with that. I mean why blow all your money in lottery tickets when you’re just going to lose again?
4meAndyou · F
Eccentric people who are really rich often drive cars that are more than 10 years old...or pickup trucks. They might own a ranch or a farm instead of a mansion.
caPnAhab · 26-30, M
@4meAndyou a ranch/ farms sounds to be more productive than a mansion too
BlueVeins · 22-25
Yeah I definitely wouldn't do any of that shit, in fact I'd probably still live in an apartment and find some nice, long-range electric car to lug me around. I would, however, waste money on top-tier PCs, plastic surgeries, travel, fresh produce, and fitted clothing.
caPnAhab · 26-30, M
Sports cars, ridiculously massive houses. That stuff never appealed to me
Bignakedguy · 31-35, M
I’ll never buy a fancy car. I’m fine with what I have. It gets me from point a to point b.

Those Hollywood mansions look boring as hell.

I rather get a fixer upper and live there
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
Flashy things that would make me a target

I’d buy me an 8 ball and rent an apartment for a whole year and black out all the curtains and throw away my phone

@TheDisciplinarian hookers and cocaine lol
The first priority is making sure your family and friends are taken care of.
Then set up a charity to help strangers fallen on hard times, or looking to make a dream happen.
Then invest wisely, and live within your means.

But no....

Butler, cook, or housekeeping staff
No entourage
Private island
A house the size of a shopping mall
A car for every day of the week
A solid gold toilet
Spray tan booth
race Horses and grounds
A garish wardrobe full with brands no one's heard of
I wouldn't brand anything, or place my name on buildings
A sports team
ElizabethBabe1994 · 26-30, F
Ipad, mansion, expensive cars, $5000 dress I mean why spend a lot of money on that? Also a maid to clean the house, airplane. That’s just dumb.
But I will take care of my family, pay off my debts and end world hunger.
I prefer to wear my regular clothes.
I’m with you, I don’t see a point in buying all that shit.
MonaMartinez86 · 36-40, F
@ElizabethBabe1994 you’re not going end world hunger with a billion dollars it cost trillions to feed people
ElizabethBabe1994 · 26-30, F
@MonaMartinez86 we’ll I can try! There’s no harm in that
Magnolia21 · 22-25, F
If I became a billionaire, I'd probably spend the same way. Little bigger house, newer car, and that's about it. Wouldn't just blow it all on overpriced nonsense. Maybe more take out.
Iwantout · 26-30, M
I would never buy a supercar of any sort seems like the first thing they always do and it's just stupid
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
Nothing flashy. No Mercs, Porsches or Mansions. The truth is anything you want can be rented or leased for when you get bored with it. My one indulgence would be to hire executive jets to travel. I hate airport security and all the crowds...Rent a nice place in Port Douglas in an Up market resort with its own staff and fly a few friends or family up for a few weeks..Thats the way to do it..😷
dontdmme · 22-25, F
Id never buy designer clothes or purses or shoes unless its for my family
RoxClymer · 41-45, M
Any new car, I'd buy, restore/maintain/customize pre-2000 cars
Definitely not a Tesla, a private plane, or my own island.

I'd still shop at Costco and clip coupons.
I would not pay for anal bleaching.

Pathetic looking high couture
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
You’ll buy any clothing under one grand? 🤔 I agree about a mansion and Tesla/expensive car. For Mac/phone I don’t mind since I use them daily and often for many years
Nomad7 · 22-25, M
I use a phone that costs over $1500. It’s all about preferences. Warren Buffett has 106 billion and lives in the same house he bought for 31k in 1956.
iamnikki · 31-35, F
@Nomad7 yep, because the wife likes their neighbors
SinlessOnslaught · 26-30, M
Yep I'm the same way. A reliable car and a livable home are all I need. No strippers or private jets.

I'd prolly buy a better fishing pole.
A large house, unless it was a large duplex and family or friends were living in the other unit.
I also wouldn’t buy a car, but I’d probably have Uber on standby.
If I became a billionaire, the very first thing I’d do would be to settle any tax obligations from it.
Then I’d make sure my father had everything he needed.
I’d buy either a modest home or a duplex.
After that, I’d donate to the charities I already support, invest a small amount, put the rest in the bank. I’d be very, very careful whom I helped.
MonaMartinez86 · 36-40, F
I don’t know what I’d do with 1 billion dollars
Justenjoyit · 56-60, M
Paying people to come to my house and clean it or cook for me, I could not stand the intrusion.
Monalisaa1986 · 36-40, F
Well usually the 20 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms are usually for a larger family that’s why there are so many
DDonde · 31-35, M
Kinda agree with the enormous mansion thing, unless I'm having a million kids.
