I never personally have had any restrictions from my parents on any lingerie that I wore and was able to wear thongs even before I was a teenager, but our family are all nudists so that may make a difference.

I know some parents take lingerie wearing very seriously and do maintain restrictions on it. But to what age can you really control that? ... and should it be controlled?

There is no difference between a G-String and a V-String. Victoria's Secret wanted their own brand of G-Strings and called them V-Strings. So if you have a V-String it is from Victoria's Secret :)

Guys, did you get permission from your parents to wear thong, etc male underwear when you were young? ...because I know they have made them for boys and guys for many years now.

I was a single dad , I don’t think my daughter wore those until high school years but I’ve never really ever thought about it, its underwear and I’m not going to be checking on what she is wearing for underwear. Just my opinion.

They look better under certain outfits, especially tighter fitting skirts and trousers that would show a line but if I had a daughter, I wouldn't be happy about her wearing that till she was 16. Where boys are concerned, I guess I'm old fashioned maybe but do straight men ever wear those? I would find them a massive turn off on a man but either way, they are quite sexual so 16 is the age limit where kids are concerned.
