Working on Loving Myself

Just getting back from my trip. I had to leave town to refresh my mind and spirit. I am feeling rejuvenated and ready to become more present in my life once again.

I have to be honest with myself. I still have a lot of work to do on myself. I need to continue dating myself and learning to love myself and hopefully one day someone will want to match that energy and love towards me.

I am currently an unfinished project. So many more books to read, lessons to learn, and adventures to begin. I need to keep shaping myself.

It sucks to be alone, but I guess that is part of the problem. I am not comfortable being alone yet. Once I am content being with just myself, perhaps I'll be ready for a partner then.

Growth is painful. Its fruits, however, are so sweet, that they give justice to the bitter part preceding them.
Only by learning the bitter taste, can you feel pure and deep gratefulness from experiencing the sweetness.

Breathe... listen to your soul, to that heart of yours that was so serene as a child. The world and experiences may have made you feel fragile and lost. But you know you are strong, you also know that you can still find your way back to your true, deeper essence of being.
Tap into your inner universe, heal it... you will feel when you are ready to share it with someone new.

Loving yourself doesn't mean being overly proud... on the contrary, it means accepting yourself in your entirety.
This will give you peace.

When you do that, you will feel self-sufficient and you will no longer be dependable on other people's opinions...

The next person you meet... you will see them with better eyes and you will feel the relationship on a deeper level because you will no
longer have this anxiety about being lovable.

You know you are. you just have to give yourself the time to allow your heart to love itself again.
You can do it! 💗

Where did you travel to?

I've been taking a similar journey and need to tale a trip to self reflect. Just unsure what would be a good place to start.

@SW-User Oh, it was just a stay-cation basically. I traveled to a nearby city and stayed at a hotel there and saw the sights. I didn't need to travel too far away to get away.
