I measured my thighs and they are about 24" 😡

I have been working out and lifting heavy to tone my arms and upperbody, but doing sumo squats to focus on my inner thighs. I've reduced my calorie intake to under 800 calories a day and usually only eat one meal due to my fasting schedule. Any other tips for trying to get thinner legs? I know I can't spot reduce but is there a workout that has helped you get leaner legs that I've overlooked. I do some light running as well.
Climbers tend to have low body fat with strong legs, cyclists tend to have more power in the legs.

My trainer was always big on core strength and never went for spot reduction. A lot of burpees, battle ropes, planks and standing on bosu ball in various ways. I lost 0.5 lbs almost every day, not from anywhere specific until I reached a certain weight. I started doing a different activity to break that barrier

@Justafantasy okay thanks I'll keep that in mind, when I started I just wanted to lose weight overall but as I'm nearing my gw I'm afraid I wont be able to get to my desired body w/o getting really underweight
@Bananana it's not always about the number, for me it was something to do well off work and help with recovery after surgery. Then weight was a side benefit, being able to do more activities was the goal

I've heard other women say good things about ballet helping them get strong and lean but ymmv. Please make sure you're eating enough.

Maybe you need to take your body shape into consideration, some women naturally have bigger thighs than others

Thicker thighs look far more sexy than thinner thighs

Just how much weight are you losing? Is this venturing into being emaciated and anorexic?
deadgerbil · 26-30
@Bananana how tall are you?

Keep in mind that different people's bodies store fat differently, so your legs may be the the first area where your body puts fat.

So you may have to creep into very low body fat percentages to get the look you want, and that's not necessarily healthy. Women need to have more essential body fat.

It's just like how some women strive to get a 6 pack and they feel like absolute shit bc it's not healthy or worth while

@deadgerbil yeah ive read about that, I'm slowly trying to get my body used to doing water fasts, my most recent was 3 days and that helped me drop some pounds but I'm hoping if I can last a few more days the fat will start going. I'm 5'3 so pretty average 😩

@Bananana I did a two day water fast before. Kinda inadvertently, I don't have weight loss goals.

But yeah, make sure you're getting all of the proper nutrients during this period of calorie restriction, bc you don't want to be lacking in that bc it will increase your risk of injury as you tone your muscles

Ypu measured wrong use the metric system amd convert to imperial.. those conversations tend to be fairly generous.
Bananana · 22-25, F
@soulshadow hmm but it doesnt change how big my thighs are lol 😭
800 seems awfully low
Bananana · 22-25, F
@BeefySenpie you think? Just a rough estimate from calorie tracking apps so perhaps its higher in reality
Applepiedom · 56-60, M

There isn't anything more you can do. It's a gradual process. Keep your diet in check, keep working out, and you will see progress.

@SW-User ty, I hope so, plastic surgery would be my last resort
