Does your wifi ever stop working for about an hour even when you reboot it, but then just suddenly works again?

So annoying

Scenario 1: you cannot connect to your WiFi router. As in your computer/phone will not pair with the WiFi router.

Scenario 2: your computer/phone is connected to the WiFi router, but you cannot access the Internet.

Scenario 1: your WiFi router may be tool old to keep up with the WiFi connectivity methods your computer/phone is trying to use.

Scenario 2: your Internet provider is providing you with crappy service.

@DarkSideoftheMoon Your service provider or your WiFi router? Or both?

@Northwest its a new wifi router. The technician updated it when i moved home in march so i think its the provider. I also live by the countryside and without wifi i grt no phone signal at all so maybe that could have something to do with it also

@DarkSideoftheMoon Yeah, you need to contact your provider. I don't know if you have any other options. If you're really out in the boonies, you may want to consider a low-orbit Internet satellite provider.

@Northwest sounds like i need to do more research. And maybe make a phone call ive been procrastinating on making

@DarkSideoftheMoon I helped a friend, who has a 100 acre man cave retreat in the nearby mountains, install an Internet satellite link, a few weeks ago. The installation was dead simple, and he's got great coverage, including live voice calls (no noticeable lag).

Google Starlink and Telesat and see if they offer services where you are.

@Northwest are they in the uk?

@DarkSideoftheMoon Both companies are worldwide, but they are not 100% deployed, so you need to hit their web sites, to see if where you are had coverage. I know they refocused to launch more satellites to cover Ukraine, so it's possible that accelerated their European timetable.
