Does your wifi ever stop working for about an hour even when you reboot it, but then just suddenly works again?

So annoying

@SW-User so annoying 🙄

@DarkSideoftheMoon very, but it’s become a routine for me now. Lol

@SW-User i unplug mine fir 20 seconds and plug it back in. It restarts but literally still wont work so i just ignore it for an hour and eventually it works again
SW-User
@DarkSideoftheMoon that definitely sounds irritating… good grief.
I’ll unplug mine, make some coffee, then a few minutes later, power it back up. That cycle seems to work fine for mine

@SW-User i have to call the cable company but theyre useless usually. I had to call them 3 times before they actually sent out a technician to set up service when i moved. They also lied and said i wasnt on a contract qnd then afterwards when i wanted to change providers they told me i was on a contract and couldnt cancel. I will literally have lengthy calls with them and at the end of the call get no email of confirmation and then be told if i dont get a email confirmation of the call then the call essentially never happened and id have to call again

@DarkSideoftheMoon if there’s competition service in your area, you should consider changing providers. Unfortunately that’s the only method that gets anyone to act

@SW-User i have to wait until my "contract" is up now. And unfortunately the next best service is a dish service and my neighbours said they lose service all the time with them. Oh, we have a cable and Internet bundle. I dont even watch tv but my husband likes his sports so 🤷

@DarkSideoftheMoon well that bites. Ugh
Do you own the modem and router or is it the providers equipment?
