Atheists and agnostics, how might you react if you somehow learned God(s) is/are real?

From what I know of myself and most atheists we would accept that and then begin studying that too. Cause we want to know how, why and what no matter what. It would give us a whole new world to explore. But the thing is atheists aren't atheist by choice. They just aren't convinced by evidence that has more holes than a sponge. Something so grand and universe shaking should have the strongest possible evidence. Sadly the evidence points to either nothing or something so small and insignificant that it doesn't matter.

I've never claimed to be an atheist. I've said I don't believe in God but that's because I've never seen him / her or any spirit. I don't care enough to call myself an atheist.

well it would depend on which pantheon it was. Greek, Egyptian or Norse pantheons are awesome. the Abrahamic ones can piss off.

I wouldn't count on it, but I would hope for God to commit suicide like what supposedly happened in some bizarre early 1990's movie.

I'd know for certain that it hates us, to have been fvcking with us all this time by keeping us in perennial conflict by not being more direct with us, and allowing us to spin up myriad competing narratives about it, and killing each other over it. That is nothing but hateful.

That's so very, incredibly fvcked up, no matter how hard you try to apologize for a deity doing that (never mind that the concept of human interpreters/intermediaries for omnipotent-fvcking-beings is fvcking preposterous!!!). There is no conceivable benign, loving way to justify fvcking with your creation like that, for what, sh!ts and giggles? How psychotic.
