@Darksideinthenight2 they locked up all the land here.. it’s either aboriginal land or state property.. for years and years campers and ppl who enjoyed the land used to burn all the dead wood..
now you’re not allowed on it.. nobody looking after it (budget restraints)
It’s a ticking time bomb every summer.

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout we went to California 2 summers ago & stayed at Yosemite they wouldn’t allow anyone to gather dead wood to burn in the fire rings at the campsites. As many tourists as they had it would help a great deal if they did. They don’t want campers bringing in wood from other areas saying it could bring in insects to the forest that are not native there. So they sell you firewood at the camp store at a high price.

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout bush isn't fire wood! No one is going to go around collecting brush to burn! Especially if they are going to get thistles all over their hands! Trees are not really the problem! It's the brush underneath the trees!

Actually it's the illegals that clear certain very small parts of the brush to illegally grow marijuana! Just no where near enough! They illegally grow it in national Forest areas.
