I didn't like private messages because some people would be very into you and then ghost you, and it felt like a total waste of time

I think it's a terrible idea to invest oneself here.. Or online. Or maybe anywhere really.
Well depends with who, but for the most part isn't a good idea I think

I do not think it is a waste of time if the connection is real and valid. But when I get the fetish minded or people that are only into me because of my profile pic and they cannot and will not read peoples about me sections then yes, a huge waste of time and effort.

But I have met a few really great people here I will chat with in PM's.

@WillaKissing me too, but others showed me their true colors, anyway I think they just wanted to have something fickle and sexual and made it seem like they cared about me but they didn't get what they wanted,so got bored and left. Sigh. So that's why I wished I hadnt talked to them in the first place. Being online, it's easier for them to walk away, so yeah.

@Lovebird Yeah, being online seems like a green light for others to feel like they can explore their personal sexual fantasies at other's expense.

Not like we can show up and show their wives girlfriends significant others the offender's messages to us. So, they feel emboldened to act out.
