If you were born at the right time, you could have been prosecuted for both being a homosexual, and then years later prosecuted for criticising lgtq

Either something is wrong, or it isn't. It doesn't matter if it's 1544, or 2024. Murder would be murder whether it's 1722 or 2022. Charity would be good whether it's 1614, or 2014.

Who’s been prosecuted for criticizing LGBTQ?

@Therealsteve I hope for your sake you are able to tell the difference between legitimate criticism and abusive language . .

@SunshineGirl The UK state that enforces it clearly can't.
@Therealsteve There's a pretty big difference between criticism and a hate crime.

@BohemianBabe I live in a hostel right now. There is this man who is quite mentally handicapped. On two occasions he has assaulted me, other times he has verbally attacked me. All without provocation. I reported him both 1-1 to staff as instructed, and at group meetings as instructed. On both occasions I was told it would be dealt with. I then get a letter claiming I'm targeting him on grounds of a protected characteristic, for reporting him in the very ways I was instructed to. I have video and photo evidence of his abuse. But no, those sort of laws are there to drag society down.
@Therealsteve I have no idea what any of that has to do with anything I said.
