Stuck in the eternal struggle of needing a close friend to confide in, and not having the energy or the will to get close with anyone.

I had to cut contact with my last really close friend, it'd turned into an emotionally dependent relationship and they needed proper help. I couldn't help them the way they needed. Hurt like hell and I don't think I'll ever have a friend like them again, as they have only gotten more and more mentally ill as the years have gone by.
