Smart comes in a range of flavors. Depending on the situation, I think emotional intelligence is among the most valuable. Calculators can help with math most of us need in daily life. Dictionaries and Auto-correct can help with spelling.

To the best of my knowledge, there is no device to help read people.

Different kinds of smarts, and not enough awareness of how to help others develop those skills. Communicate to grow even if talking to self you gain a type of awareness. I find it's easier to study individual words definitions to find the full meaning of a conversation, many overlook this. Many make the same mistakes and make it a social norm to make those mistakes, laughing at it never learning from it. We have ways we like learning from. Curiosity drives ambition.
Curiosity makes you search for facts.Knowledge helps you remember those facts.Wisdom teaches you how to use those facts to live a good life.
