Sometimes, I get jealous of couples,
old couples holding hands
but that's okay...
perhaps there are people like me who are not destined to have forever...

Sometimes, I can't help to be desolate
but that's okay...
maybe it's my fate.

I may not be okay, but I need to...
this is my life!
I might as well embrace it and make the most out of it.

I don't think any of us get everything we want in life and sometimes that is a good thing. I feel your pain though, I've felt unloved and lonely most of my life, from childhood. I think if it's right, if you really need it and are ready for it, life will bring you someone. <3

In my case it can be sadness seeing elderly couples holding hands because that's what we thought would be the situation for us. I agree with your conclusion and genuinely hope you get something positive from life.

I went 15 years without a relationship, waiting for the right one.
I hadn't really been with anyone for 10 years.
After a couple years of having this friend (who I always thought was out of my league), I found myself in the only relationship I'll ever need. It's not perfect, nothing is. But it is perfect.
It will find you, just focus on being ready. Focus on building good friendships, finding balance, being happy, being someone you want to be around. There's always going to be ups and downs, there's always going to be mistakes, but you just need to learn to roll. Eventually you'll get where you need to be.

I feel the same. There are ppl that are destined to be alone. If you don’t fit in society that’s really what happens. You’ll get in shit relationships break your heart and eventually realize love was never yours

@Queendragonfly Exactly. Honesty is so refreshing. I also love people that are truly open about how they feel. Unfortunately, it can also make them vulnerable when their hearts are open.
