Note to self

It’s not anything personal but I rarely listen to anything here, even the music videos people post. So I couldn’t comment one way or another.

On the deeper stuff, if and when I post that it’s mostly for myself. I’d rarely if any get comments unless it’s people who I interact with on a public basis time and time again.

There’s no need to post selfies or bikinis. Sometimes those are just for validation and “likes”, and there’s no substance there.

I know it’s harder because I’m not a woman, but I post usually silly or random, rather than deep or insightful.

I hope this doesn’t come across as mean or anything, I’m just hoping to provide a different perspective. Just keep being you.

I think people sometimes feel self-conscious of pouring their heart out like that when it comes to deep topics that involves sharing sensitive stuff. I’m sorry you didn’t get replies though, I was going to reply with something but I got busy with other stuff.

As a singer/songwriter I learned long ago that as long as I can convert my thoughts and emotions into something that anyone else can read or hear, and maybe find relatable and/or appreciate, I am satisfied. I write to memorialize how I felt at that specific time in my life...for myself. If it touches others, that's just a bonus.

I try to at least heart if i see your posts lately the climate on the site is so hostile i log on get pissed and log out .I used to post deep personal stuff but now I'm leary of opening up . One thing that bothers me is making a heartfelt response to someone struggling and either get no reply or like the guy that posted how lonely he was and i offered friendship, but he responded well considering your age i don't think we could relate.

I can't hear your singing unfortunately, and if I missed something deep, I'm not afraid, it's probably because I don't see your posts because of the algorithm.

Barely anyone responds to my deeper stuff. Even people that used to don't anymore. I think people get sick of you and it's easy to move onto others.

I am sorry for not listening. I am usually in a public place so do not want to disturb my neighbors.

I'd actually like to see more post that go deeper. There's way too many places I can go on social media when I want lightweight fluff.

I've found 'deep' to be pretty difficult lately. I just need to laugh, to stay moderately sane.
