Last day off and it’s been met with hiccups that I can do nothing about except find a way to maneuver my way past them.

And that’s where strength truly lies.

Knowing that there will always be things that are out of my control…that there will always be something that decides to puff its chest out to claim its ownership over the light I’ve fought hard to retain, but choosing not to let its impact stick around long enough to impede my ability to find my breaths, regroup, and carry on like the badass I require myself to be.

…it’s the only way to live out the rest of the life I’ve been gifted. And I won’t settle for anything less from myself.

This is so good. And, it's a great reminder to me to work with my life's circumstances in the same way. Thanks so much for your post. 😊

They had a thing on Shark Tank that was designed by some Hiccup doctor.....I know they said that Walmart carries it....I think it's called The Hiccup Thing....it wasn't expensive at all and supposedly works great!!

@Nevertooold Haha. I’ll have to remember that 😁

As always, well written, well spoken, and well stated. Stay strong P. Kick whatever is standing in the way in the figurative nards. 🤣

@BillyMack Hahaha. With pleasure 😁
That is a great perspective. Thank you for sharing that. Wish I had a cure for your hiccups, I wish they never even existed

@urbancowboy They serve a purpose I suppose…the whole learning to adjust thing. But think I could learn such techniques without them being a thing.

I was looking for a silly image to share. My goal was to find a cup and the word, "Hi."

So, I searched for "hi cup" and got a bunch of cartoons. Apparently some character is called "Hiccup."

So I tried, "hello cup."

Bloody hell (literally). Photos of hoohah cups!

I gave up.
Yep. Body check what you can into the walls now .. and skate on amidst the rest until its their turn.
