But i do kinda agree with @Spoiledbrat - some dont feel bad about being cruel or insensitive or making others feel bad.
In fact....some get off on it - like its some kind of competition or game they have to 'win' at.
Some even 'rewrite' the story in their heads to justify their awful actions.
I do truly believe that there are people that live life from different spiritual levels.
So for someone from a very low level ....this world is a playgound of easy lies, stealing, cruelty. To them ....its not bad - its a type of 'sucess' to them .
But for the average person, wjat you mention, is important. Its those questions amd reflections that give us a chance to raise ourselves up.
Which thr world desperately needs .

@OogieBoogie What do I mean by more? They struggle with a lack of meaning in their lives. That’s why they find anything they can to fill the void. They might mistaken that for feeling good like you have, but it couldn’t be further from it. Their desire to take is evidence enough of that. It’s always those who take which have the least.

@OogieBoogie Even if you don’t realize what’s hurting you, that doesn’t mean you’re not being hurt. Even if you think you feel good, that doesn’t mean you do. My post was talking about what it actually means to feel good in your choices. Genuinely so. Not falsely.
