Thank you Walmart for ruining my Birthday 🙄

I dont ask for much all i wanted on my birthday today was some tacos 🌮🌮🌮🌮

The taco shells in my favorite brand (Dorito) were all expired. Been expired for months i made them pull them from the shelf. Someone isn't doing their job. I ended up buying chips and i'm making Nachos instead. They had one job to do.

If it helps, most perishables in Walmart are managed by the delivery folks as if the place was a consignment shop.

Also, and as an aside, sell by dates and Best Used By dates, are not actually indicative of the This Could Make You Sick date.

I'm sorry you had to settle for bite sized tacos on your birthday, that needed to picked up piece by broken piece,

I too enjoy a nice handheld taco that I can hold in my hand as I drool while it makes it way to my mouth.

You'd be shocked to know how much will power it takes me to drive past a Taco Bell location without stopping for the 3 Taco Grande Meal !

@HikingMan I used to work in grocery in the late 90s, those dates are on the packaging for one reason and one reason only, to properly rotate upon warehouse delivery for the stocking crew.

Most will have a SELL BY and BEST USED BY _ _ _

But in Fact, yogurt bought today can sit sealed inside of your refrigerator for over 6 months and be completely edible after stirring without any worry at all of food borne illnesses.
