I Am Lonely

I am lonely tonight. Trying not to be.

I have extraordinary friends. I know this matters but the kind of lonely I feel is not for a friendship.

Tonight, when I wake up in the middle of the night and wish to hear someone sleeping is my lonely. Knowing I'm the person this person loves. He's not there. Me and my pillows will make it through.

I wish for patience. Tonight going to sleep with lonely again.
