church is the most lonely place i know of...after 15 years they still dont know my name.

just another social club with cliques. a group was waiting at front door to tell Pops happy birthday...it's not until Dec.

@Bang5luts Right?!? My church is the most warm and loving and welcoming place I've ever known. We do regular fellowship and it's just wonderful. I went to several churches when I decided I needed to get myself right and I went to this church one Sunday, and have gone back every Sunday since then.

@Bang5luts So so true. I love taking photos and I took a photo of my church one foggy morning, years ago, never knowing I'd end up becoming a member of it.

@Bang5luts I started out in a Mennonite church because my mom was raised there. Then I ended up in a Brethren church. Visited Pentecost, Methodist, Baptist, and ended up right back in the Brethren.

@Tumbleweed I've been raised around mormans (kids I went to school with) raised in a non denominational church, Nazarene, baptist and now still looking.
