What makes you feel lonely?

The mortality of everything that you can touch, and of everything that you cannot touch.

Having no one to call when I'm hurting

I've had a lot of experiences in my life that most people never go through. Thanks to them, my life has been taken a very different path and it makes it really hard to relate to people sometimes. Thus, I tend to be alone.

Time, or growing older. You see, when we are young we are surrounded by people who want to be our friends and our loved ones. Playing around, going out for foods and drinks, nice, little conversations, etc… As we grow older, people grow apart and have their own lives, until eventually death comes for us all. Think of when you were a kid in elementary school playing with other kids at recess, and then think of what it will be like to be dying on a cold hospital bed.

Being surrounded by people who don't know me and don't show interest in knowing me.

Nothing really. I absolutely love being alone now that I'm old. I hate the changes in my looks and voice and feel like everyone is judging how much I have aged. My happiest time is when I come home from work and away from people and can watch Netflix or read, do art, or nap. Being around people completely stresses me out.
