even the homeless can find someone wanting them...this makes me pretty worthless...too clean cut and hardworking

Life could always be worse.... What are you grateful for ... Health? Job? Car? Place to live? Food to eat? Can you walk? Have both legs? Shoes? Feed yourself? Mouth to eat? Not fed thru a tube? Chew your food? Fingers work???? I could go on....

Usually other homeless people, who are addicted to something. I wouldn’t envy them. Still, loneliness is awful, and I have no solutions. If I find one, I’ll let you know. I don’t give out platitudes.

Being wanted has nothing to do with materialistic worth. That's where you are going wrong.
