I Am Lonely

I have no self-esteem. I don't believe anyone could actually want me. It makes me deeply suspicious of anyone who's nice to me. And I feel like an idiot, being 30 and feeling this way. Something is wrong with me.

Fake it til you make it. I've noticed it works. I find it slightly odd. Im the same person but folks'see' someone different; someone more confident and self assured. Also,walk with your head up and briskly, but not so fast that you just look creepy.

@iamnikki So, you're saying don't be authentic. Instead, put all your energy into being something superficially you're not and go through your life that way.

@MarkPaul Not at all. Sometimes, when you try hard to project confidence, like I did today at my job fair, you actually start to [b]feel[/b] confident. Not good to go thru life with no self esteem and actually projecting that. If you project yourself as someone who is confident, people may actually think you are. Poster may get someone interested in him if he does this, therefore boosting confidence..☺

@iamnikki Ohhhhhh. So, use it as a "confidence-starter" with the intention that the "real" confidence will follow. Kind of makes sense. Thanks for clarifying!
