What does an 11 year age difference have to do with a 30 year age difference in the OP's post? The point of your post is not clear.

@swirlie People may have differences of opinion on age gap relationships. Older men are generally criticized less than women for the same actions.

I think 30 years is too much. The Bill Belichick example seems sad, pathetic and a bit gross. That’s what pops into mind quickly. So, there’s a somewhat obvious continuum that involves both sexism and ageism.

If it was just me we’re talking about, I’m 65. I probably wouldn’t date anyone under 45. I’d have a hard time dating anyone older unless they were very fit.

@chuck7882 Maybe, but if my 30 year old brother came home and told me he's met a 60 year old from the USA online that he wants to marry I would have questions.. Same thing if my grandma wanted to move to a different country for a man half her age that she's never met🥹

@Cassieeee people who haven't even met (only online) is a different story. I was talking more about two people who maybe had a friendship in real life going for a while and found they both had feelings for each other.
