@Cassieeee There have always been evil men, we just didn't hear about them as often. I think we're just hearing more about it due to not just the rise of True Crime TV but, we live in a civilization/society with a 24/7 news cycle and things are recorded, cameras are proliferating all over the place, CCTV is a thing nowadays that wasn't when I was a child, so we're catching more on Camera than ever before. It's also becoming readily apparent most criminals aren't too bright.

@PDXNative1986 That's true. I used to live in it tho, and was less scared when I did^^ Maybe just survival or something, but it's triggering to see things on the news, specially happening close to where I live.

@Cassieeee Tell me about it, I know that feeling, Very recently there was a Train derailment in North plains, I drive through North plains so regularly, There's not much there at all but it's right on the way to The main Highway that cuts east west in the Portland Metro, right through Beaverton all the way onto the 217 and Tigard, Highway 26 known to the locals as the sunset highway because the sun sets right in your eyes which is why the WORST time to be coming home is effectively rush hour during the winters if you worked downtown and lived out here where I do you'd be better advised to spend an hour or two catching something to eat and going to the mall before heading on home AFTER the sun went down but there was a Garlic festival and everything and This Train derailed, When I saw the news I was like, holy ---- if there's something hazardous that's just down wind from us.

@Ducky I know you don't wanna talk to me, I don't blame you, but look at Cassie's post before this one. Peter showed up on that one too to call her a helpless victim.
