Sometimes, it's hard being multilingual..

I wanted my husband to shut the blinds, so I told him to "turn down the blinds", that didn't sound right, so I added "shut out the light with that thingy" pointing at the window🤷🏼‍♀🤦🏼‍♀

I know enough Spanish to carry a conversation, but whenever I’m speaking it, I’ll know the words and whatnot but will sometimes struggle with how to properly phrase them. I imagine my sentences in Spanish have come out similar to that plenty of times. 😅
