I accidentaly stopped my meds, and now I'm not sure what to do..

Talking about the meds I'm taking for C-PTSD. I haven't taken them in about a week now, while waiting for them to give me the right dosage..

Now that I've gone a week without, I'm thinking that maybe I should just continue without them for a bit and see how it goes..

I already know my doctor would tell me no, they're afraid that I'm going to collapse or something.. But I've wanted to get off them for a long time now.

Idk..

If anyone has suddenly stopped taking sertraline/zoloft, how was the side-effects? More importantly, how long did they last 🥹

I understand wanting to stop your meds to see how you do. I have been on Zoloft (coupled with abilify) and my pdoc at the time weaned me off that to switch me to Paxil. I have suddenly stopped taking ssri’s and snri’s before, and I wasn’t doing well. But honestly I wasn’t doing well on the meds either.
I hope you’re ok

I had a dr give me sample packs of Zoloft from the office when I couldn’t get mine refilled for a few weeks. Is that why you didn’t have yours, you couldn’t get the right dosage filled? He had me double up on pills to get to my dosage

@itsok Yes, I asked for a refill and got the wrong dosage, so I've been waiting for it until today 🥹
