Why did I think working a double would be a good idea, meaning instead of ending my shift at 9:30pm, I’ll work till 7:45am..

I said yes regardless, and 40 min into my second shift my patient died in-front of me. I’ll never get used to seeing it 🥺

However, I’m glad that I was with her, everyone deserves to go with someone next to them. May she rest in peace 🌹
