I find it humbling that plants that survived whatever killed the dinosaurs, can't survive two weeks under my care..

But they survived and cultivated beautifully after a tragic event. Green is my favorite color because it reminds me of them. When I see them I am reminded of peace and resilience. They can still be hurt. But they have proven themselves as an unstoppable force of nature, and a kind one that brings me peace.
