@Ontheroad Since it looks to be your left hand, and that hand looks fine in the mirror image selfie, it must have been relatively recent (unless you have interchangeable hand-like attachments).

@Lilymoon unless you worked on older cars or do plumbing, you probably wouldn't have heard of them. I think they came about in the 30s and are now called groove joint or tongue and groove pliers. Besides their intended purpose, they have many uses, plus they are great for opening stuck jar lids😁
