My Millennium Falcon light doesn’t look as bright lately

and now I’m worried the LEDs are just gonna give up on me one day 😩

I can’t even figure out if they’re replaceable, or how I’d do it if they are.
Part of me is like… maybe I should stop turning it on to save it.
But also… that would hurt my soul just a little

That’s one of the cutest lights I’ve ever seen.

@Bexsy Well that I can do.
@Reject you make me giggle lol
Levenrack · 46-50, M
@Reject By gifting @Bexsy a five-second clip of you in an Old Spice "After Hours" Body Wash commercial made in 2010. You're a goddamn bold one, I'll give you that. 🫡😆

Wait.... how old are you actually, in that commercial?! 😳 ........... 😏😉
Your light still shines brightly bby 🥰

As for the millennium falcon, get chewy to change the Quadex power core 🤔

My candle burns at both ends;
It will not last the night.
But ah, my foes, and oh, my friends—
It gives a lovely light!

@Bexsy She was a fascinating woman. A girl from a tiny rural town who became a star in the big city. Read a great biography of her by Nancy Milford.

That’s the night light that did the kessel run in less than twelve parsecs! You have to keep using it 👍
@Zaphod42 i shall, it lights my heart up

LED lights last for like 10,000 hours!
LEDs lose brightness over tens of thousands of hours of usage. They will most likely gradually get dimmer over the years rather than fail outright. High temperatures can kill them, but that's probably not your situation.

@ElwoodBlues thanks!

Just buy a new one when it dies.
Captainjackass · 31-35, M
@Bexsy your the one being buried with her toys.
@Captainjackass how dare you call them toys
Captainjackass · 31-35, M
@Bexsy do you play with them?

Probably a strip of soldered/integrated leds these days.

One MIGHT be able to get a generic strip of similar wattage, but it could just as easily be another electronic component regulating volts/amps.

If R2D2 were available he/she/it could do it.

May need to leave it on some planet for Rey to find.

You mean you haven't serviced the light drive in how many years?!?!?!?!
Degbeme · 70-79, M
Keep using it. No idea about replacing the lights if needed, you might try an online search for replacement parts

@Bexsy I think I found some footage of you fixing it although I'm not sure what the cosplay is all about 😏😏
