It really depends on the question.
I do bite my tongue quite often....not to avoid unpopularity but because I simply don’t have the time or the crayons to explain to some people haha

I choose to keep my opinion to myself most of the time.
Sometimes I type a few lines, get distracted by some other activity and then get back to the tab minutes later. I unceremoniously delete what was written, close SW tab and wonder how can I waste my time like this.
