Are adult dating and mutually enjoyable adult romantic sexual relationships even possible as an introverted, shy and socially reclusive person?

it almost seems like being introverted and not socially outgoing means dating, making friends, having relationships especially mutually rewarding adult-style sexual romantic ones isn't really possible.

Dating sites don't work (for all but the top 1 percent of 'pretty people'), and being socially phobic prevents meeting people and being able to start conversations with anyone new.

@Convivial Right. I get it, but you can mix with people every day of the week, it’s still no guarantee. Just saying from experience.

If you are looking for genuine and sincere relationships on dating sites, forget it. Yes, some get lucky, but for the majority, they are not only a waste of time (and maybe money), but they’ll make you feel worse. I tried one or two about 9-years ago. I didn’t stay long. Unless you want a casual and meaningless hook up, you won’t find anything deeper there. Sorry.
