For anyone who suffers from heartburn/indigestion

Do you find that you have residual soreness the day after an attack?

Also, I'm still new here and my socks are made from disappointment 👏

When I get bad ibs, it can take a week to stop feeling 🤮

Yess, if I don't take my meds it can be crazy, and my throat hurts several days after.

It can take days to settle down. Fortunately PPIs work well but they say long term use is not good.

@InfoTunaBotTheReturn I've taken them for 8 years, but I think I took way more than I needed, so I got deficiencies because of it, and the doctor scolded me when she scanned my gallbladder, saying I'll get gallstones. 😥

You should get some blood tests done as a general checkup, because if you do have issues with nerves, know that can be caused by deficiencies, which can be caused by this medication. It never hurts to check.
@Nightwings My gallbladder was removed last year so I'm good for gallstones, haha 🤣 I do get regular blood tests too, my next one is in September 🤗

@InfoTunaBotTheReturn Oh my gosh! I didn't even know that was a possibility. I'm happy to know you do get regular blood tests done, but I'm a bit worried about your health. /=

Are we sure its just heartburn? Because heart conditions can also seem like it. I'd get it checked out.
Nightwings · F
@Longpatrol That's really unlikely, I hate when it's suggested that common harmless issues might be something serious, because it creates so much anxiety in some people to think like that. 😖

@Nightwings I know it does, but on the flipside best to check right? Don't want to miss something potentially serious. I'm not trying to scare him or anything like that.

Of course its dependent on age, lifestyle, medical history etc

The day after?! Once there's irritation it takes weeks to calm down.
