So I have these moments

They happen in the early hours, usually between midnight and 4am. I may or may not overheat, but I get nausea and my heart rate goes up to like 170bpm. Sometimes these moments have preceded Crohn's attacks, sometimes not. Sometimes I pass out, sometimes not. Last night I managed to stop it within a half hour or so, I took beta blockers and went to sit outside in the cold for a while. It was like 4°C.

So yeah, that was my Ted Talk 👏

I didn't choose the broken sleep life, the broken sleep life chose me 🚬🫩

You need to get checked out. Having your heartbeat that high is dangerous, especially when it happens more than once. Puts you at risk of heart stuff, at least that’s what my cardio told me. You should get your heart checked out.
