Has the internet made you think better or worse of humans as a whole?

Some of you won't remember a time before the internet existed so you might not be able to compare, but just imagine life without the internet. Would you likely feel better or worse about people?

p.s. if the internet has made you feel better about people then you're one of the people that makes the rest of us feel worse about people 👀

Definitely worse, but I think that's because we actually got worse.

It's a little difficult to say. I mean, it definitely has made me think worse of people in general, but I only have my perceptions of people in general from when I was a child to compare it to.

Facebook showed me a side of my friends and former friends that I wish I had not seen. So I dropped Facebook. I prefer to remain ignorant of their political and racial views.

Much worse. The Internet is just some 'puter nerds' greedscheme. It has nothing to do with people and everything to do with greed.

The internet is kind of broad. Can we start with the SW image feed and go from there? 😬😬

Defo worse.

I grew up in a time before 'smart' phones or the existence of social media.

I don't really feel anything about people as a whole. I definitely met a lot of weirdos and morons online who's likeness I've never experienced IRL. That's probably because they don't go outside, given that society wouldn't welcome them. All they have is the online world where they can meet other losers and outcasts, who hide from the real world as well.

My feeling is that I already had that sort of feeling about people before the internet.
I would say it’s a net zero for me maybe. Being able to talk to people in other countries is still something that I would hate to lose, though.
