Russians at this resort

They don't seem to like to smile much when you do something polite or courteous. There isn't much of an exchange of pleasantries 🤔

Don't get me wrong, I'm English and we can be some of the very worst people abroad, drunken and uncultured. Obviously I'm a standard bearer for decency and civility but not everyone is like me 😌

@ostfuidctyvm 🤔yes you are absolutely spot on some let us brits doen hen on holiday in other countries . these people are what others stereotype us brits as drunken hooligans on the rampage . this gives us brits a bad name and the perpetrators should feel the full force of the law and there passports confiscated so they cannot travel

Smiling is a sign of personal warmth or positive relationship for Russian people - that's why you aren't getting smiles.

They are firm believers in honesty and sincerity, so they don't use the English service smile.

Lot of people from Austria are the same. They are strangely cold unless they are trying to get into your pants
