pausing to appreciate the day :)

Ever had one of those days where you just pause and appreciate what your doing or whats happening around you? for me its typing up a crochet pattern, listening to music that i wouldn't normally listen to while drinking a really good strong coffee. i just had to pause, share and appreciate the moment :)

has anyone else done this recently and what was your moment about?

@Midnightoker1 that is so true, when life gives you nothing but lemons, you have to make lemonade and pause to enjoy it ;) still tastes sour but with the sugar it tastes so much better

Walking through a forest (arboretum) today... noticing how silent the city surrounding became quiet. I found a little awe in that quietness, especially in the start of spring in Canada. We could have snow one day, the fragrance of the forest floor giving whim of her birth another. Thank god I had coffee before, or I would have been more annoyed by the loud young man talking to his mom (looking all like he belonged in nature), I get they need conversation, but she found a way to quiet him. After coffee moment, how's that?

Yes, I had this moment yesterday as I finished building the cabinet doors and adding all the hardware to the cabinet while drinking my strong coffee and stepping back yesterday evening stating to myself: "Man did I get a lot done" "Man did I kick ass or what"!

Considering this is the first set of cabinets I have ever built and the first home I have ever built by myself for myself, I felt on top of the world on 4-8-2023. Now to look for the right Live Edge Slab for a countertop!
