my bf didn't reply at me for like 4hrs only to know that he only played games, should i be mad or just respect him,because he never said anything i thought something must've happen to him or i'm just over reacting?

Playing with head phones it can be easy to miss a text alert.
My general rule of thumb is: If it's not important send a text and I'll respond when able. Again, if headphones are on for work or games is easy to miss a single text alert.
If you need an immediate response, make a call. I know actually using a cell phone as a phone is taboo these days, but if something is urgent or you are worried about my health, it's much harder to miss a call than a text.
